An atmosphere of style and warmth
Our 27,000-square-foot clubhouse is a creative link to the past, a tribute to rural landscapes, a skillful blend of native stone and wood in contemporary applications. An atmosphere of style and warmth make the Clubhouse the perfect place to kick back after a round of golf or a day at the office, the ideal spot to entertain friends or valued business associates.
The Clubhouse exemplifies not only our approach to the game, but also our respect for the land and the history of the community in which we live and work. The Marshes occupies an area that was settled in the early 1800s. For more than a century, commerce in Kanata meant agriculture; today, commerce means high technology. Two vastly different worlds, and yet in the Clubhouse you'll experience both—and marvel at their complementary beauty.
The design brings to mind the great barns that once dotted these lands. The structure relies on the same time-tested post-and-beam construction in creating impressive interior spans that are visible throughout. Building materials were carefully chosen to honour the history of the location and its people. Locally reclaimed barnwoods and indigenous stone can be found throughout the Clubhouse. The massive fireplace in Ironstone Grill features stone reclaimed from an abandoned farmhouse on the property.
The Clubhouse décor includes stunning finishes and comforting natural-colour selections—all carefully selected to create an atmosphere that's rich, intimate and—most importantly-relaxing.
