The Mike Weir Foundation is dedicated to advancing the physical, emotional and educational welfare of children. In spring 2005, the Mike Weir Foundation took the first step by establishing the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids. This national program has a very simple mission: to be golf’s premier fundraising initiative to support children’s health. Through a series of partnerships, events and activities the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids rallies golfers and supporters to generate $10 million dollars for children’s health care. Care that is not just needed immediately but also care, research and education that will build upon today’s priorities to find solutions for tomorrow’s 
challenges. The Mike Weir Foundation will donate the funds raised at the 6th Annual Lumière Gala to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa.
